Cheese

Flavors and aromas that tell the story of pastures and transhumance, handmade manufacture and ancient knowledge: a richness that today is expressed in 10 PDO cheeses and in a great varied dairy production, vaccine and sheep, extended from the hill to the pre-Alpine and alpine areas of the region. Do you have a soft spot for cheese? Let you indulge in the genuine simplicity of Piemonte’s cheese starting with the Bra, which owes its name to the baroque town of the Cuneo province, cradle of Slow Food and a historical center of seasoning and trading for local cheese makers. Located among the Roero hills and the Cuneo plain, every two years Bra turns into the international capital of Cheese, the event which attracts thousands of cheese and dairy products lovers.

Bra, Castelmagno, Toma, Raschera, Murazzano, Robiola di Roccaverano and Ossolano are exclusivevly produced in Piemonte and could be enjoyed at the table together with Grana Padano, Gorgonzola and Taleggio.
