At the Kona Bike Park Bardonecchia you can enjoy 400 km trails of varying difficulty, ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 metres of paths well prepared and viewpoints. Provided with two chairlifts and a cable car, perfect place for the various mtb disciplines (downhill, freeride, cross country and some specific trails for children). Even in Susa Valley it is possible to ride along the ancient Via Francigena seeing unique and old architecture such as the Sacra di San Michele and the Novalesa Abbey.
Another well-developed bike park network is located in the Cuneo area, it includes two of the main winter resorts, which in summer turn to downhill, all mountain, freeride and enduro trails. In Prato Nevoso Bike Land in addition to ski slopes, there are ski lifts and night lighting. In Limone Piemonte, a small town in the Maritime Alps, it is possible to rent the mtb on site, the electric version is available too. The Eco Bike Park Tajarè, located in Gaiola, within the Mountain Community Stura Valley (Cuneo area), is a real eco bike park without ski lifts and includs 120 km trails and roads suitable for cross country and all-mountain. At the Monte Alpet Bike Park (in Cardini di Roburent) you can bring your bike into the chairlift at Serra di Pamparato to reach the summit of Alpet Mount (1,611m) and starting a serious of adrenalic downhill and freeride trails.
Sando Bike Park is the perfect destination for mtb located in Alto Verbano, in San Domenico di Varzo, inside the Val Grande National Park. The services available for bikers are rentals, workshops and school for enduro, downhill and e-bike, as well as two baby parks to move the first steps in amusent towards the two-wheeler world. Pogno Bike Park offers adventur trails on the lakes. Pogno is a small village on the hills of Lake Orta and over the years it has become the perfect destition for e-bike and mountain bike entusiasts available all year round. It is part of the Enduro Word Championship (Campionato 4Enduro) organized by FCI (Italian Cycling Federation). The park is provided with shuttle service, rentals and workshops.
The Oasi Zegna Enduro Bike Park, located in the Biella area, in Trivero (Caulera hamlet) is the seat of Enduro World Championship. 4 energy trails are available: Caulera (km 1.50 ), seems quite easy, but beware of slope changes and dangerous hairpins. Novareja (km 1.70), from the eponymous Shrine to Masseranga (a hamlet in the Province of Biella). Vertikal (km 1.70), the quickest one, from Tirlo Mount to Castagnea. Chiesetta Alpina (km 3.50) is the longest one, but quite easy.
Crossing the Lange, Roero and Monferrato you reach the Alta Langa Bike Park located in Rocchetta Belbo, in the eponymous Valley of Belbo River. Here you find a serious of natural paths based on difficulty. Suitable for all-mountain and downhill, as there are no chairlifts, the climbs are a great workout on pedals. The Caldirock Bike Park, in Cardirola, Alessandria, is a reference point for downhill enthusiasts. Open every weekend from March to November.
