Going along La Routo means rediscovering two centuries of history between the Valle Stura and Piana de La Crau, in Provence, following the trails of shepherds who migrated for work to the south of France or accompanied their flocks to graze in the Cuneo Alps. The itinerary passes through all the municipalities of the Valle Stura and covers a significant elevation gain, exploring mountain lakes and pastures, Neolithic caves and chestnut forests.
