A play area for All without architectural barriers, to enable all children to enjoy outdoor leisure time together.
Accessibility and usability
From the outset, "Parco dell'Albero d'Oro" was conceived with the main aim of creating a place where people with and without disabilities can integrate, a place where all children can play in total serenity. A ring route inside the park allows access to the barrier-free play area. There is a castle and a gondola that can be accessed by children in wheelchairs, while the blind are helped by handrails with specific indicators, allowing them to understand which area of the park they are in. There is an area designed for the sense of smell, and the swings and spring rockers can be accessed and used by children with difficulty in sitting as they are equipped with wrap-around seats.
