The Cooperativa Sociale "La Prateria" was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the Omegna Lions Club and other clubs in the area, with the contribution of Lions district 108 and in collaboration with a group of volunteers, as a work integration centre for people with disabilities.
Accessibility and usability
La Prateria offers accessible and usable educational activities for people with disabilities who can stay in the accessible farmhouse and use the equestrian centre. It also has a facility called Lions Village specifically equipped to welcome tourists with disabilities.
