From Casale Monferrato to Racconigi: between the Wine Cities and the hills along the Tanaro river.
The tour starts from the historic centre of Casale Monferrato to reach the panoramic viewpoint of Coniolo where the entire range of the Alps can be admired: from Monviso to Gran Paradiso and to Mont Blanc, up to the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa. The route continues up the hills to the Sacro Monte di Crea (UNESCO heritage site) and the village of Moncalvo in the direction of Asti. The route winds its way to Alba and, following the dirt roads, reaches the banks of the Tanaro river, where there is the geological site of the Spiaggia dei Cristalli (Crystal Beach). Crossing the countryside, you reach Pollenzo and Bra, with panoramic views of Cherasco, and as far as Racconigi.
